NLCC LOA Policy
- A Leave of Absence will be granted for medical reason.
- In order to be granted a LOA, the member must be in “good standing”; no monies owed to NLCC in the form of outstanding dues, scrip, capital bond or bar tab.
- Members on a LOA must pay the current social membership rate for that year or years.
- After 1 year away, the membership committee and the BOG will make every effort to return the individual to the membership class in which he/she left.
- After more than 1 year, the member will be placed on the top of the waiting list and admitted to the next available class.
- If the retuning member has been on a LOA for no more than 2 years, he/she will be allowed back without paying an initiation fee. If the request to return has been in excess of 2 years, the member will be require to pay 50% of the current year’s initiation fee.
- The member on a LOA must keep their bond with NLCC during the LOA period.
